Cousins Casey and Sabina searched high and low for a healthier, cleaner, snack to fuel their active lifestyle, when they couldn't find one to suit their needs they made their own! Each ingredient is mindfully selected to keep you satisfied in a tiny little package. Casey and Sabina say that Byte Bars were built for badass people who approach life with a work hard play hard mentality. And did you know: BYTE is an acronym that stands for Be.Yourself.Today.Everyday.
HOW DID YOU GET STARTED? WHAT WERE YOUR FIRST STEPS AND HOW DID IT EVOLVE FROM THERE?
Byte Bars was started in the fall of 2019 by us: a cousin duo of female athletes, Casey and Sabina. We grew up as fitness enthusiasts in need of a better tasting, better for you energy bar. Three years later the brand has gone through a pivotal packaging rebrand and recipe reformulation and can now be found on the shelf at 200+ locations; Most notably, Byte Bars is on the shelf at Whole Foods Market, Erewhon, King Soopers (launching EOY 2022), and Urban Outfitters.
HOW DID YOU COME UP WITH YOUR NAME?
We began making the product in our kitchen with just 5 raw ingredients, a food processor and a tablespoon. When the bars were scooped out of the food processor (with the tablespoon) the bars were a perfect bite sized shape. The brand stands and lives by the acronym Be.Yourself.Today.Everyday. (Byte)
TELL US ABOUT YOUR WORKSPACE!
Right now, we are both working from our home offices, utilizing many of the amazing Denver coffee shops and co-working spaces as well. We are hoping to move into a Byte office space in the next year or so!

WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE PRODUCT YOU SELL?
We are split on our absolute favorite, although we are both big fans of all 4 SKUs. Sabina would pick the Lemmy Razz Protein Byte Bar and for Casey it is the Choco Chip Byte Bar.

We are both avid skiers and love Vail Mountain Resorts as well as beautiful Telluride in the winter and summer.
WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE THING ABOUT COLORADO?
We love Colorado for the mountain playground that is our backyard. There are so many options to bike, hike, ski, and enjoy beautiful sunny Colorado. We also appreciate the active lifestyle and authentic people that Denver attracts.
